Week 3

Week three was a good mix between week one and two. I didn't have as much events as I would've liked however, I did have more things to than week 2. First I learned more about what I would  be doing for being the admissions liaison. It seemed to be focused a lot around open houses and tours so far. I went to my weekly welcome desk shift and did the same old same old there. Nothing too exciting happened there except people sharing way more information on the phone than they need to. On Thursday I worked the fall involvement expo and service fair. I actually had a great time at this event. Besides the fact that putting table clothes on tables on a windy can cause you to say a few colorful words... I worked the cotton candy machine with Makayla. We had a lot of sugary fun there. There was a lot of servant leadership going on here because a lot of students were coming up to get cotton candy while I had to multitask and listen to others to be as productive as possible so all the students got a treat. I was covered in pink and blue and smelt like the circus after it was all said and done. In my classes I Had my first exam of the year (aka the most frustrating exam of the year) in group problem solving. Turns out I got a B on it! All is good in the world and will be better when I hopefully get an A on the next test.
